So last night i attended a night club event called Zsongo in Madrid for the first time, biggest Afrobeats party organised in the city, saw 3 girls standing next to a bar inside, i knew they were Nigerians because one was wearing a Nigerian super eagles Jersey. Now usually when i see Nigerians like that especially in countries you hardly see your people, I am always quick to go say hello.. I walked up to them focusing on the one wearing the jersey cos i was sure she had to be Nigerian, her friend to her left, always the oversized one, pushed me so hard saying “she is not single, please move or mind your business”. I was confused and was like sorry…..? She said please get away, she does not want you, she is not single, nearly becoming aggressive. I had barely even said a thing at this point. I said madam i did not come to toast anybody o, i was just happy to see my people and thought to say hello, they started making comments like ‘okay we are Nigerians oya go. My South African friend that i went with was like this how your Nigerian people behave, i said oh well…. I just said God forbid bad thing and walked off, finally na me f*up go relate with my people 🤦🏽‍♂️
