Not surprised. In my opinion, they were allowed to push the limits all tournament and started acting like the World Cup was already theirs. Talent wins matches, but respect and sportsmanship earn admiration. Argentina had one, but not the other. Great footballers? Yes. Great sportsmanship? Not even close.

Argentina wasn't at this tournament to play football—they were allowed to get away with behaviour that ruined the tournament for many other countries. FIFA kept pushing and favouring them instead of protecting fair play, sending the message that this kind of attitude is acceptable. That's the real disgrace. In my opinion, the final should have featured another team—Cape Verde, Egypt, Switzerland or even England. The behaviour and attitude shown by parts of the Argentina team throughout the tournament was unacceptable, and FIFA's handling of it only encouraged more of the same. Shame on you, FIFA. You ruined what should have been a great tournament. ⚽🏆

Lo de la @Argentina (@AFA) es la definición de antifútbol y mal perder. No supieron ganar en el campo y han demostrado una falta de dignidad absoluta fuera de él. Dar la espalda y negar el aplauso a la @SEFutbol es una actitud marrullera, tosca e inaceptable para profesionales.
