Blizzard not only wants you to believe these are real breathing human beings, but that they also are at the same skill level as you.

I mean yeah, once you hit Masters it can be argued that you've just started to actually learn the game. You really don't know how to do anything even remotely correctly UNTIL you get to Masters. When you get there, you can begin to learn how the game should be played.

@JuzuLive There’s an ascendant haze player giving dodgy aim advice getting thousands of views because he doesn’t disclose his rank and doesn’t talk with confidence. Just make content. Stop making excuses for why people won’t care or why it’ll flop.

this post might be useful if you're small size streamer
(tl;dr - just sucks to put lots of time and effort while staying truthfull to yourself and your audience when everyone on this platform just casually viewbotting)
as a 9 years streamer, whenever i see bots spamming with their viewbotting stuff, i always used to ban them but recently i actually started to think about it more
there's many ways to discover a streamer, whether it's yt/tiktok/insta and so on, but as a 9 years streamer that NEVER viewbotted, I'm genuinely shocked how hard it is to get your audience in X game on twitch
I used to average 100+ when I was streaming ow, my peak was 300 viewers without hosts (raids now) and after that I never managed to become bigger, obviously for some ppl 100+ is A LOT of viewers but I wanted to grow bigger since i was streaming ow for damn almost 8 years
then i quit ow and went fragpunk, I actually made it in that game, I used to average 2-3k viewers for 2 weeks until the game started to gain less attention and numbers proceeding to maintain 15-20 viewers at the end
then i quit fragpunk and went highguard, I also made it there maintaining around 400-500 viewers for a week until the game literally fucking died, uh oh unlucky me haha
after highguard I went deadlock and for 2 months of pure grind and content creation I get 0% of those views hopping onto my twitch, ofcourse there's a lot of people who supports me from old ow/fp days and I'm genuinely greatful for that but it's just not enough to sustain yourself from streaming
looks like i'm whining that I can't make it in streaming but I know I can make it, I know I can be one of those deadlock streamers to watch while working/studying/eating etc, it's just the urge of getting viewbots since everyone is doing this shit and overall to stress relief, saying my thoughts out loud yk..
as a 9 years streamer, it is really a dreamjob, it is really easier than 9-5 and it is really fucking hard to made it in there, if you're small-medium size streamer with an average of 150+ real viewers, just don't take it for granted, appreciate it every single day and enjoy making content
as for me, I want to make educational content in deadlock but until I get eternus, I'm not going to make a long-form videos on that topic, it's just the fact that I need that icon for thumbnails so people be like "ohh, that guy is eternus, me watch this!" and no, i'm not going to get viewbots even tho deep inside i really wanna say fuck it, i'm getting that shit
ofcourse eternus1 is legit the same as oracle1, i perfectly understand it, but for massive audience on social media, having an eternus rank icon means you're god, I can't just fool people telling i'm eternus when I'm not yet
that graph shows how much I streamed for 2 months meaning each square is a stream, each stream is at least 8 hours minimum and I'm averaging 10-15 viewers
I'm editing videos myself, I'm editing short-form content myself, I'm streaming minimum 8 hours almost every day, I'm being active on social media but it's not enough
my advice for people who wants to start full-time streaming, seriously think about it, multiple times, all this posts on twitter saying "do this consistently and you will get viewers" is a massive trap
being a successful streamer is not just hardwork and dedication, it's being in the right time at the right place, luck plays a massive role and many people don't realize that, you can edit videos yourself everyday, you can stream 8 hours every single day but if you're not lucky enough, you will stay nieche till you get the golden ticket

@EnerChiWasTaken crazy that people are still going to such lengths to cheat in a game where mechanics matter very little

Never take these tweets too seriously. They’re half raging vent posts and half truth. We could’ve won this game if we played better. It’s just jarring getting one shot through petrify lol. He was double my teams net worth most the game, he deserves to frag out. NOW NERF IT!
GenericEdBoi@GenericEdBoi
I think we should nerf Vyper. Unironically. I had 50+% bullet resist and go fully one shot through it. Very epic.

@EndersFPS -No skill gap means the game feels unrewarding to play
-Bad audio/desync/no indicators means some deaths that would normally feel preventable are completely out of your control which is frustrating
-Design or new patches keep making matters worse, BT is actually unplayable

Hot take, this Ult redesign is EXACTLY what Haze needed and it perfectly fits her identity. She isolates targets and gets a free 1v1 while facing them. This gives her the flexibility to actually ult in teamfights without forcing ricochet or splitting damage. (It needs tweaks tho)
Sleep@ToxicAssWhore
NGL this Haze ult change actually is so ass for her hero identity IMO. Can we go back to when she was a pick hero who used the ult to win 1v1s instead of an ultbot or whatever this pizza cone shit is.

When are people going to realize that just because something can be countered in a game, it still doesn’t make it fun or engaging design.
