Russia has committed many horrific crimes in its war against Ukraine, but the abduction of Ukrainian children stands among the gravest.
Thousands of children have been taken.
Every single one of them must be returned.
On 11 May in Brussels, @andrii_sybiha, @AnitaAnandMP, @MartaKosEU and I will host the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children.
Our objective is to bring them home and hold those responsible accountable.
Relations between Rome and Moscow have been tense because of Meloni's strong support for Ukraine as it continues to fight off Russia's full-scale invasion. #EuropeNews

AOC: In some ways, you kind of want this guy on a golf course more than you want him in the Oval Office. But that also calls into question the 25th Amendment, because if the determination is that Trump cannot be trusted in the Situation Room, then he’s not fit to be president.
We expect some positive decisions tomorrow on the €90 billion loan to Ukraine.
This would show that our support for Ukraine remains strong and that Russia cannot outlast Ukraine.

🇪🇺🇮🇹 Big rift with Washington; Italy's Defence Minister Crosetto says Meloni wants to move forward with the European Defence Union and wrote a letter to counterparts in Europe. "Macron is right, to be free you have to be feared"
⚡️Italy summons Russian ambassador after pro-Kremlin TV host insults Meloni.
Italy summoned Russia's ambassador on April 21 to protest "extremely serious and offensive" remarks about Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni by pro-Kremlin TV host Vladimir Solovyov.

@lucie18040852@MosiniElisa Oui, mais ca montre qu'elle a des qualites de mettre des hommes qu'on dirait "forts" en rage. En fait ils l'insultent si fort par faiblesse...
After Trump’s attack on Meloni, Moscow joins in.
Kremlin propagandist Solovyov says:
“She’s a fascist, an idiot, and a nasty little bitch. She betrayed Trump.”
These words are disgusting
And today I say this simply as an Italian.
Full solidarity with my Italian Prime Minister
It is essential that the €90 billion European support package for Ukraine be unblocked. There can be no grounds for blocking it anymore. The EU asked Ukraine to repair the Druzhba oil pipeline, which had been destroyed by Russia. We have repaired it. We hope the EU will also deliver on the agreed commitments.
There has also been no progress for a long time on new sanctions against Russia over this war, which is particularly unhelpful when the United States is easing restrictions. Pressure must be maintained so that the Russians do not feel they can wage war with impunity.
The EU has adopted additional sanctions targeting two entities responsible for Russia’s continued hybrid activities, particularly propaganda and disinformation.

Russia is in big trouble with its economy. A $100 billion budget deficit cannot be plugged by a short war in the Middle East. So far, they have managed to offset only about 10% of it, no more.
The war in Iran strengthens Russia, exhausts the United States, and depletes Europe’s energy reserves. It creates pressure – where will China stand? In such a situation, it is difficult to be just a mediator. This is a serious energy challenge for everyone.
Therefore, the war in Iran will lead to broader aggression not only in the Middle East. It will also constrain Ukraine’s access to air defense systems.

"I'll end the war between Russia and the Ukraine in 24 hours."
He didn't.
In fact has alienated us from every country in the world, and started a new war of his own he can't end - without of course, "wiping out the entire civilization."
Until 31 May, the Orbán puppets may voluntarily step down from their positions. This applies to the President of Hungary, the President of the Curia, the President of the National Office for the Judiciary, the President of the Constitutional Court, and the Prosecutor General.
On 12 April, the Hungarian people voted for a complete political transformation.
If these officials do not step down voluntarily by 31 May, then — on the basis of the mandate received from millions of Hungarians — we will remove them from office.
It is wild how long Peter Thiel got away with lying about Jeffrey Epstein.
He tried to downplay their connection, but emails prove they met constantly for years.
Epstein even invested tens of millions into Thiel's ventures and even acted as his personal tax advisor

Putin just gave himself the legal right to invade any country on Earth. 413 votes. Zero against.
In 1938, Hitler said he needed to protect the German-speaking minority in Czechoslovakia. Six months later he owned the whole country.
This week the Russian Duma passed a law letting Putin deploy troops anywhere on Earth to “protect Russian citizens.” Estonia and Latvia both have large Russian-speaking minorities on Russia’s border.
Trump has spent a month telling America that NATO abandoned him. The alliance didn’t show up when he needed it. Remember that.
What Americans don’t understand: leaving Europe before a major war doesn’t mean sitting it out. It means handing China the role Japan held in World War Two.
We are not saying this was planned. We are saying a plan between two men would look exactly like this.

Zelensky hinted at Lukashenko about Maduro’s fate if he decides to move against Ukraine
The President of Ukraine warned that Russia is not abandoning attempts to draw Belarus into the war.
He said that activity is being recorded in Belarusian border areas: roads are being built toward the Ukrainian border, artillery positions are being equipped, and forces are being regrouped.
Ukraine has already sent a signal to Minsk that in case of a threat of invasion, there will be a decisive response. Zelensky separately reminded the Belarusian authorities of “recent events in Venezuela.”
For now, there is too little information to draw loud conclusions. But Lukashenko clearly understands that direct participation in an invasion of Ukraine would be a catastrophe for his regime.
Therefore, a full-scale invasion looks unlikely.
But provocations on the border are quite possible. And this looks less like an independent move by Minsk and more like an order from Moscow to keep tension on the border and distract Ukrainian forces to the north.
