I Saved Injective's $500M. They Pay Me $50K.
I like hunting bugs on @immunefi . I'm decent at it.
- #1 — Attackathon | Stacks
- #2 — Attackathon | Stacks II
- #1 — Attackathon | XRPL Lending Protocol
- 1 Critical and 1 High from bug bounties (not counting this one)
Life was good. Then I found a Critical vulnerability in @injective .
This vulnerability allowed any user to directly drain any account on the chain. No special permissions needed. Over $500M in on-chain assets were at risk.
I reported it through Immunefi. The next day, a mainnet upgrade to fix the bug went to governance vote. The Injective team clearly understood the severity.
Then — silence. For 3 months. No follow up. No technical discussion. Nothing.
A few days ago, they notified me of their decision: $50K. The maximum payout for a Critical vulnerability in their bug bounty program is $500K. I disputed it. Silence again. No explanation for the reduced payout. No explanation for the 3 month ghost. No conversation at all. To be clear: the $50K has not been paid either.
I've seen others share bad experiences with bug bounty payouts recently. I never thought it would happen to me. I can't force them to do the right thing. But I won't let this be forgotten.
I will dedicate 10% of all my future bug bounty earnings to making sure this story stays visible — until Injective pays what I deserve.

this is actually insane
> be tech guy in australia
> adopt cancer riddled rescue dog, months to live
> not_going_to_give_you_up.mp4
> pay $3,000 to sequence her tumor DNA
> feed it to ChatGPT and AlphaFold
> zero background in biology
> identify mutated proteins, match them to drug targets
> design a custom mRNA cancer vaccine from scratch
> genomics professor is “gobsmacked” that some puppy lover did this on his own
> need ethics approval to administer it
> red tape takes longer than designing the vaccine
> 3 months, finally approved
> drive 10 hours to get rosie her first injection
> tumor halves
> coat gets glossy again
> dog is alive and happy
> professor: “if we can do this for a dog, why aren’t we rolling this out to humans?”
one man with a chatbot, and $3,000 just outperformed the entire pharmaceutical discovery pipeline.
we are going to cure so many diseases.
I dont think people realize how good things are going to get

Multiple things indicate that crypto isn’t far from bottom
- Didn’t sell off when war started
- Didn’t dump with stocks (yet)
- Volume is already dead
- Majority of retail seems to have left and started doubting crypto again
- It’s majorly overshorted and everyone’s seeking sub 60-50 (which may come)
- It’s lower than previous cycle high with inflation accounted for
- AI and crypto will go hand in hand
Is there anyone left to sell?
And if so, will BTC drop any further than 20-25% from here?
Recovery will take a long time but the bottom is closer than new ATHs, which means risk-reward toward long-term investment is tending more to buying again
Happy to be building in crypto and will do so until I retire.
Ready to see the AI and crypto run which will be generational and leave many sidelined

-> first dumps the price with fake news
-> recognises releasing reserves etc. won’t fix price increase
-> we profit from high oil prices
knows exactly he’s getting fucked by high oil prices but doesn’t wanna admit the war is absolutely not going the way he wanted

JUST IN: 🇺🇸 President Trump says the US makes "a lot of money" when oil prices rise because it is the world's largest oil producer.

🚨🇮🇷 Iran’s new Supreme Leader just spoke, and it’s worse than I expected
Key statements:
- “All US bases should immediately be closed in the region, those bases will be attacked”
- “We will obtain compensation from the enemy. If they refuse, we will take their assets to the extent we deem appropriate, and if that is not possible, we will destroy an equivalent amount of their property”
- "We have foiled attempts to divide the country”
- "The Strait of Hormuz must remain closed”
- “Countries in the region must clarify their position regarding those who have aggressed against Iran”
- "Discussions are ongoing regarding the opening of other fronts in areas where the enemy has little experience and is highly vulnerable. These other, new fronts may be activated if the state of war continues and if it is deemed appropriate”
In brief: He is more hardline than his father, his demands from the U.S. are extensive, and he is ready (one could say he prefers) a prolonged war.
Taking this statement at face value, things are about to escalate.

🚨🇮🇷 Iran’s new supreme leader allegedly launches an X account An account appearing to represent Iran’s new supreme leader has surfaced under the handle @Rahbarenghelab_ . The name translates roughly to “Leader of the Revolution” rather than the usual English title “Supreme Leader.” In Persian, rahbar means leader or guide, while enghelab means revolution.
