@Z4birding @NTBirdClub Is this not one of those orange legged Pink-feet? Has a small dark head with small bill showing pink (not orange) markings. Also lots of white in visible tail.

Popped up to Big Waters this afternoon, where the American Wigeon and Iceland Gull showed well on the ice.

My first day off since Christmas Day. Ross's Gull, Grey-headed Lapwing and White-billed Diver. I've had worse days...

Nice to get a second bite at the cherry so to speak. Outrageously good views of the White-billed Diver at Druridge Bay Country Park 😊 @NTBirdClub

My luck held this lunchtime when we arrived at Cresswell Pond, #Northumberland, to have excellent views of White-billed Diver flying off. Similar to, Pratincole flying from Holywell, and Black-throated Thrush as it lifted never to be seen again! Phew! Thanks everybody! #luckyTom

Snippet of today’s White-billed Diver from Cresswell Pond. I wasn’t expecting it to fly right over my head as it flew north 12:20pm so didn’t have my camera ready #schoolboyerror @NTBirdClub

Nice to start the #Northumberland year-list with Grey-headed Lapwing, now on three consecutive year-lists. And a distant Kingfisher, both at East Chevington @NTBirdClub

Another failed attempt for a #Northumberland Richard’s Pipit at Long Nanny dunes despite hours of searching - one day 🤞 Best of the rest was this SEO and a Whinchat @NTBirdClub

My best views yet of a #Northumberland Cetti’s Warbler at East Chevington today. An almost unobscured view of this individual wearing bling @NTBirdClub
