Zero-G Research Highlight! Zenolith: a zero-G pointing device, or “3D space compass,” that gives astronauts a better sense of where they are in the universe. Chei Wei Wang (@sayway) is planning to get Zenolith to the ISS for astronauts to interact with it. Photo: Steve Boxall

@SomuDhulipala and I tested Agrifuge, a plant habitat designed to psychologically benefit astronauts during long-duration space flight, doubling as an agricultural irrigation system. Check out our project page for more info: bit.ly/3oYlte1

#PurdueAAE student Daré Adebonojo and Prof @CollicottSteven ready to board @gozerog. The parabolic flight will test prototype K-12 teacher experiment kits as part of AAE418. Collicott has led students in this and other zero-gravity experimentation for 25 years. @PurdueEngineers

@airport_girl @cc_pilot Peak acceleration on the downward portion of the parabola is ~26,000 feet per minute. You are feeling about 1.8 Gs at that point.

So, the North American X-15 flew at (Mach 6.7) 4,520 mph. What is the fastest you’ve flown in an aircraft?

3. Zero-G Corp. is planning an international expansion that could start in a year. (They’re optimistic the long FAA approval process they had won’t be duplicated in other countries.) Could require acquiring another 727. /end #NSRC2020
