🇺🇦💪The Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a precise strike and blew up one of Russia’s largest factories producing aerial bombs. The plant is located deep inside Russian territory, in one of its central regions. It was there that the Russians produced and stored thousands of tons of explosives, including guided aerial bombs (KABs), which they use daily to terrorize Ukrainian cities. The explosion was so powerful that the facility was completely engulfed in flames. Secondary detonations have been continuing for hours, as munitions keep exploding one after another. The fire and shockwave were so intense that they could be seen and heard across three neighboring regions. The sky above the plant turned into a blazing inferno, with thick black smoke rising hundreds of meters into the air. Russian forces are trying to contain the fire, but the scale of destruction is enormous. Why this is critically important: This factory was one of the main suppliers of KABs — the same guided bombs used daily against Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and other cities. The loss of thousands of tons of explosives and production capacity means Russia will not be able to maintain previous output levels in the near future. This is a significant blow to Russia’s overall strategy of aerial terror against Ukraine. The operation was carried out with such precision and professionalism that even Russian propaganda has so far failed to produce a convincing explanation. They are traditionally claiming a “technical accident,” but satellite imagery and drone footage leave little doubt — this was a targeted strike.
