Residents have complained for years about regular fights, loud music played until 1am, littering, spitting and groups intimidating locals near the takeaway. The late-night licence was revoked in November over significant public nuisance and disorder but the shop is appealing and can continue trading until 1am pending a hearing in August. The business was also handed a zero-star food hygiene rating in February after major issues were found during an inspection. Khan accused locals and authorities of racism saying his Lebanese grill is being unfairly targeted.
