Have we any friends at the Caps-Isles game today who would be so lovely as to share a photo we could use in our game recap? <3

@DKThomp @morganhousel Great listen. Love the concept of ambition tied to the change in something vs. the absolute level. Among many possible examples, I am surprised you didn't mention that drafting a fantasy sports team is (by far) more fun than the rest of the season (even if you are doing well) :)

New ep: I had an incredible conversation with @morganhousel about money, happiness, and life; why financial security is more like vaccine against sadness than a performance enhancer for joy; and why every philosophy of happiness is a philosophy of time open.spotify.com/episode/7BtwIl…

@DKThomp Pretty sure nostalgia accelerating imminently preceded Macondo being swept out of this world

@mdharrisnyc It’s big and getting bigger due to convenience and merchants sharing the cost. Definitely should perform better due to short duration. But we will see when a credit event comes. Unsecured, non-revolving has always fared worse in a crunch ...

BNPL is going to eat the credit card market in ~10 years. It’s a product that is easier to underwrite, that gives more people access to credit (and building credit responsibly) without the lender taking too much risk. The trick will be verticalization of BNPL businesses

Pardon the language here, but I asked a House Democrat who is locked in his office whether Congress will reconvene tonight and finish its business. He replied: “Yep. We’re going back. Fuck these assholes.”

@AdamSchefter Time to run the greatest game plan never attempted. 1 RB. 10 OL. Run every play. 4 downs. 3.3 yards a play. Rotate the RB. Eventually the defense will capitulate. Is there a better idea?

The most 2020 scene of all: Denver's QBs were deemed high-risk, close contacts because they were not wearing their masks. The Broncos will hit the field Sunday against the Saints without a quarterback.

Ryan Zimmerman’s bat had to die for this.

@TheStalwart @pearkes I’m surprised there is less practice here of simultaneously tweeting two opposite takes on an issue, subsequently promoting/deleting in future when one is proven right.

@pearkes It's more like "I never had a take in the first place, but I'm doing that pundit thing where I'm having it both ways, expressing humility and the difficulty of seeing the future, while cherry picking past observations to create the pretense of wise foresight"

I'm as surprised as anyone by the resilience of this market. However, I have to say that my take at the start of this tension has held up well twitter.com/TheStalwart/st…

I love how everyone is thinking this. What does a Columbus hockey game have to do with October baseball who cares we were all thinking it or something like it
Kostas@kostasap

@ikhurshudyan @dcsportsbog hopefully it's the Lars Eller fluke 2OT goal that propels the team to greatness.
