@JayViperTV No a lot of people did think that, I saw the comment repeatedly. They believed if it failed bungie would move all their resources back to destiny 2.
People didn't want Marathon to flop so Destiny 3 could exist... they were shocked Marathon was the game that Bungie sunk itself into and that it completely ignored Destiny fans to do it.
Then they said, "screw this company, entirely." At least the real fans did.
@tehrlwldctfn92@RickKackis And I don’t blame aztercross for saying the game was being monetised (less players = you need them to pay more) he had one point mixed with a ton of BS( It did not cost $400 for old dlc) he rang the bell on the hate train based on lies.
@ZKMouse1@RickKackis GTA 6 may not even be 100 dollars but you’re somehow blaming aztecross for saying that the monetization was out of control. If you’re dropping an expansion plus add ons and 1 dungeon and you’re exceeding GTA 6 face value then you are the problem.
Crazy how everyone knows that the reason every Movie these days is a sequel or an old IP,
Is that it's a lot safer than making something brand new, because you have an existing fan base.
But somehow making Destiny 3 makes no sense? OK lol.
@tehrlwldctfn92@RickKackis “Lower cost” yes that’s why they cut content down to two mini DLC because Sony said get your financials in order stop burning money, you want content? Pay for it!
@ZKMouse1@RickKackis Profitably is based on manufacturing costs not what the market can sustain. It doesn’t mean the product is bad, it means it’s over priced. The ps5 pro isn’t a bad product it’s over priced. If destiny 2 was too expensive to make then streamline the process in an effective manor
@tehrlwldctfn92@RickKackis witch queen was considerably larger that the base game, the community wanted more and more content but They didnt want to pay.
@tehrlwldctfn92@RickKackis brother you are dumb as a rock. Making the game is manufacturing a produc “just make it cheaper“ is not a business strategy if it was everything would cost a dollar, see how that works? There is a line where it becomes unprofitabl. I never said it was a customer responsibility.
@PaulTassi Is that coming from potential information from your sources coz if it could be then it might be a good idea to spread that information out as much as possible
@tehrlwldctfn92@RickKackis You really seem to be struggling with a very basic concept, if it was profitable they would still be making it! “vote with your wallet“ yes you voted to close the game down.
@ZKMouse1@RickKackis Because the value was not representative of the cost. That doesn’t mean the game deserved to be discontinued. That means the price needs to be adjusted. Putting profits over customers is how we got here. But you’re championing the company that greenlit concord so that’s expected
@tehrlwldctfn92@RickKackis Brother please shut up you have literally no clue what you are talking about both Microsoft and Sony looked at the books and didn’t see the game as profitable. You are just talking out of your arse “it should have been cheaper“ based on what? ur complete lack of knowledge cost?
@ragnarok_thors@OldNickx@PaulTassi If you weren’t there week one learning the raid with everyone else you weren’t doing that raid in lfg “kwtd” “have clears” that is exclusionary. I remember my first raid people screaming at me for not having an exotic.
@OldNickx@PaulTassi The community loved tf out of the game. The only toxic people here are Pete Parsons and some of Bungie who dont care about us. And likely Sony as well.
@ZKMouse1@RickKackis The customer is the demand. The customer determines the outcome of the transaction. The customer makes the final decision to hand over their money. You can’t have demand with out the customer. They’re one and the same. Demand is not independent of the customer it is the customer.
@tehrlwldctfn92@RickKackis I really Don’t know what point you think you are making here? the last line is just confirming what I already said? And the fact you are just coping AI responses kind of makes this pointless. As I said you didn’t want to pay so they stopped making it.
@tehrlwldctfn92@RickKackis congratulations you have now understood that the customer doesn’t set the price, demand, availability and profitability does.
@ZKMouse1@RickKackis Yeah that’s a failure of market demand. Meaning the price you’ve set doesn’t meet the demand requirements. And I could easily go to a gas station and do that if it was to expensive for the market demand but it isn’t. However 900 dollars for a cut down PC is exceeding demand.
@tehrlwldctfn92@RickKackis lmao, yeah buddy go to the gas station and tell them “errr this gas is too expensive” demand sets the price and when a product isn’t profitable they stop making it. It’s actually pretty simple you didn’t want to pay? Then they stopped making the product that’s how the market work
@ZKMouse1@RickKackis AND WHO SETS THE MARKET? THE FUCKING PERSON BUYING THE PRODUCT!
You can slap whatever price tag on it you want but the “demand” is always going to decide availability. If your price exceeds demand you ain’t selling shit.
@tehrlwldctfn92@RickKackis lmao, “customer sets the price” no the market sets the price if a product isn’t profitable companies stop making it, so guess what? They stopped making it.
@tehrlwldctfn92@RickKackis And “no new map”? for the life of the game the community majority of players didn't care about PvP they hated PvP wanted it removed from the game, then all of a sudden “they don’t support pvp“ is used to attack them. It was ridiculous.
@ZKMouse1@RickKackis He was right to make that video. How do yall forget how loud the community was when seasons came out with witch queen and then dungeon keys and then the anniversary bundle. All of that was separate purchases. And we still couldn’t get a new crucible map.
@DredgenYor0202@BChieftain69@DestinyBulletn@Ahvora_ utter rubbish you are a fool if you believe that, from the moment of purchase Sony controlled made up 50% of the board and had complete control. They OWN bungie, all of that creative independence was just PR Sony says jump they say how high.
@ZKMouse1@BChieftain69@DestinyBulletn@Ahvora_ How long has it been since Bungie was purchased by Sony? They have minimal control over Bungie up until recently. Gut the higher ups at Bungie
