@JezCorden @asha_shar Pokopia interest was low in the US until all the reviews and word of mouth kicked in. This kind of argument reads like Xbox will just never have a game that generates interest outside of a core demo, and at that point just close up shop as what's the point?

Someone show @asha_shar the Circana March 2026 report and how much Switch 2 sold because of Pokopia, an exclusive that generated insane word of mouth and excitement Might want to look into that for Xbox again in case others in Xbox tried saying exclusives don't sell hardware

@r_lumaris @WindowsCentral How long would you keep a $599 Windows laptop that'll run with a limp from day 1? My experience with any budget Windows laptop has never been good. I'm a Windows guy but the value of all these cheaper MacOS devices can't be denied.

Apple just launched a $599 MacBook, and that's bad news for Windows OEMs. Microsoft should probably be panicking. With MacBook Neo, Apple just made a macOS laptop that midrange Windows laptops will have to try and compete with. Even though it only has 8GB RAM, most people won't care if it means jumping ship from Windows to macOS at an affordable price point. You can defintiely find more capable Windows laptops for $599, but when Windows 11's reputation is as bad as it is, could you blame someone for opting for the $599 MacBook instead?

@Gothalion @ASUS_ROG I'm a big fan of OnePlus and would totally recommend a OnePlus 13 if cameras matter or a OnePlus 15 if it's less important to you. Probably the best software experience with Android and it's really not close. MKBHD uses the 15 as a daily driver if that means anything

I don't think people realize how little it means to be on a Steam top seller list for a single day, it needs to be consistent. Avowed was a #1 on Steam for a hot minute for reference

Warner Bros. Discovery's board is running out of excuses for rejecting Paramount's offer, so they move the goal posts with new "reasons" to say no. The regulatory risk is not even close: a Netflix deal could easily be blocked, Paramount would be reviewed but normally go through.
