@JustinLamp61069 @Subnautica to me is more the fact that, is not so much that the AI is malicious, quite the opposite. I'm sure the AI is incapable of feelings. Its just efficient, and wants to complete its task/porpoise. But as human, we view those decisions as evil for the lack of empathy

@Wolffang7191 @Subnautica yeah, in a normal videogame we never think about it but when the story mentions how we are actually PRINTED, memory erased, loaded from a previous backup with no knowledge of what the individual did after, even have specific parts of is memory removed or edited existential crisis

@ZLycanSubscribe @Subnautica yeah I guess I've just gotten so used to in-universe respawn mechanics in video games I didn't look any deeper into that but in retrospect it speaks volumes my goodness

@ZLycanSubscribe @Subnautica no I get it that makes sense and the other NoA nodes did seem to be getting pretty quick to mark people 'do not reprint' and since I left the first comment I've found a number of unmarked black boxes that definitely lean towards the practical/expendable hints

@Wolffang7191 @Subnautica I'm not trying to be mean. just following the logic of an "efficient AI" since I would question it and not trust it the AI would find me unpredictable, unreliable an error that has to correct

@Elamental4 @Subnautica maybe I missed it, but as I kept discovering more about the story, I started trusting that AI less and less so I think that first description might be a lie

@Wolffang7191 @Subnautica I only have 4 hours of game so far, but is something I've been thinking since the introduction. That name felt more like a TAG than a proper name
