@HMBohemond If an artist blacklists someone who loves to generate AI art - it's deserved. Why the fuck would someone want to accept commissions from a lazy thief who never considers the damage their technology does to economy and environment?

With the latest drama blow up about AI art, I don't think it's controversial to say but when it comes to generative AI, there's two things fueling it. 1. Artists who fail on delivering with commissions and price their art excessively. Turning commissioning art into rolling the gacha, which it shouldn't be. 2. Artists refusing or even blacklisting potential customers over petty political bullshit. Or worse, refusing people who have used gen AI but legitimately WANT TO GIVE YOU MONEY for REAL ART MADE BY YOU! I get not liking generative AI. I get the potential dangers it presents to artists. But a lot of you are fueling the fire by making it appealing at a service level. You're not going to lose to it unless you let it. You need to get a better attitude.

@DankLordNeato @sanson_ganbaru @OrthodoxTexan In SEA, we have the same issue until the last few years. Old people here simply too used to electric fans and think ACs are too wasteful. The increasing heat and ACs become somewhat more affordable convinced them. Now they can't sleep without AC on.

Maybe after Porsche, NTE might do a collab with Bugatti. The Chinese love European hypercars for some reason. I'm talking more out of my ahh here but PUBGM is the only basis I can draw conclusion from. First, a Porsche collab, then they did another with Bugatti.

AC can last decades without refilling if you install it right. If your AC guy told you that you need constant refill, you got scammed.

@0FedKin To air condition a home you are looking at £10000 you could do 1 room for around £3000 but that is alot of money to spend up front for a week or 2 of usage.
