Hear me out UConn/Knicks fans… UConn Basketball is the most important thing ever. St. John’s (Knicks) fans are all a bunch of losers who root for bad basketball teams. Let’s all root for the Spurs so we can keeps making fun of them for only winning conference championships.

First and foremost, I want to thank God for always giving me the strength, courage, and faith to persevere through every challenge and moment of adversity. I also want to thank my family for standing by my side through thick and thin, especially throughout this process and this important decision. I usually don’t speak publicly about things like this, but I feel it’s important to address a few things. Ever since I was a kid, my dream has always been to play in the NBA, and that dream has never changed. At the same time, I’ve always believed in myself and have always been self-aware enough to understand what I need to do to put myself in the best position to succeed. I’ve seen and heard the rumors and speculation surrounding my decision. The truth is, none of that affects me. My entire life, I’ve been criticized, doubted, and questioned, and I’ve learned to stay focused on what matters. I want to make one thing very clear: my decision to attend St. John’s has nothing to do with money. My decision was based on basketball, development, and winning. I love what Coach Rick Pitino has built at St. John’s. His experience, leadership, and résumé speak for themselves, but what stood out most to me was the belief he has in his players, his relentless work ethic, and his ability to help good players become great players while also helping them grow as men. At every level I’ve played, my goal has always been to compete for championships. I made this decision based on where I believe I can best develop as a player, grow as a leader, and put myself in the strongest position to achieve my ultimate goals. This was a basketball decision. This was a development decision. This was a winning decision. That’s the truth. #redstorm

Take a few minutes and read this about newest Johnnie Tounde Yessoufou. This profile by @MarcJSpears showcases how special of a young man he is, and why Rick Pitino said Yessoufou's humility reminds him of Sadiku Ibine Ayo. #sjubb andscape.com/features/proje…

This feels like a shot at Pitino.
Ryan Cassidy@ryancassidycbb

@Klege23 People who should have been looking out for RJ absolutely screwed him over I'm not saying I love this is where CBB is. But if it's going to be this way: I'm glad it'll benefit a genuinely good guy that got screwed.

@ryancassidycbb @NYPost_Brazille This is a truly laughable take. Everyone knew he wasn’t ready after last year, as you clearly agree in your tweet, and he decided to go. Pitino supposed to make the decision for him? You and your brother always got something stupid to say about Pitino lmao

I went unfiltered with Zuby Ejiofor, Dillon Mitchell, and Bryce Hopkins in Chicago We talked about a number of things, which included the return of Ian Jackson to St. John's Jackson's decision left a very strong impression on his former teammates #SJUBB stormthepaint.com/ian-jackson-re…

Always appreciate the players who don't run from the competition. Long before Jalen Williams became a key cog for the best team in the NBA, he popped at the combine and his stock was on a rocket. He could've skipped 5-on-5 but insisted playing both days. cbssports.com/nba/news/2022-…
Jonathan Givony@DraftExpress

Just as important as who IS participating in the Combine scrimmages is who ISN'T, including a number of prospects who aren't necessarily first-round locks. Some may be going back to school and don't want to risk an injury.

@SJUDave Would he be good enough to get some minutes? I’d be a little confused if they had 2 “projects” at the 5 on the bench

@MattNorlander Set the tone for the rest of the sport? So nobody in the history of men’s college basketball has ever had a tough schedule before UConn and Michigan? What are you saying man🤣🤣

Michigan + UConn are providing a CBB rarity: A title-game rematch in the first week of the season. Nov. 6. Boston. Tremendous. Beyond that, Dusty May and Dan Hurley are scheduling aggressively and trying to set the tone for the rest of the sport. Details: cbssports.com/college-basket…

Check out Babacar Sane’s highlights. Gifted athlete, highlight reel stuff, really impressive getting to the rim. Will be a physical defender as well. #sjubb

The Sixers went ice cold in the 4th quarter to lose Game 2… But I came away feeling pretty good because the Knicks didn’t play well at all. And if Joel Embiid returns the Sixers absolutely still have a chance. #76ers #Sixers #Philadelphia76ers #Knicks #NBA 🔵🔴
