This is a way to create employment for the various women whilst dealing with period poverty.

ZYWNP went deep in the Mtoko ward 9 Chimoyo C rural community. Where period poverty is on its highest pick. To curb this problem, ZYWNP trained less privileged young women in the community between 12 to 35 to sew reusable sanitary pads.

In these #16Days, ZYWNP is advocating for the inclusion of sanitary wear budgeting from household level, also a waiver of tax on the sanitary pads in Zimbabwean. This is clearly a glaring gap in the National Budget presented last week. Full story click 👇🏾 facebook.com/198391933362/p…
