Dear Baseball, THANK YOU! This mans name is “J” Harrison. This man saved my life. He is the scout who drafted me in the 46th Rd out of high school. I remember sitting in my fathers living room as “J” told me I wasn’t ready. My mom had just died, legal issues & the Military calling & no school options. Was I really gonna turn down money to play baseball? I HAD to. He knew that. “J” put me on the doorstep of Kevin Higgins at ARC JUCO & the rest is history. He didn’t care about me playing minor league baseball. He wanted me to survive. I just saw “J” in my hometown of Stockton Ca. I’m gonna get to go watch baseball with the scout who drafted me 20+ years ago in my hometown. Thank you baseball. Sincerely, Me.
