@Zach768641 I could see this. China has shown reluctance to buy soybeans. They might do new crop but I find old unlikely

@Zach768641 I had frost this morning and I was only supposed to get down to 36. I’m sure there will be frost. The low spots seem to pool the cool air and cause the damage. With it heading like that, it can’t take below 30° for more than two hours.

@Zach768641 This field has that potential but the frost has me very concerned. I have fields planted after soybeans that look terrible….drought and freeze damage. The wheat no till in the previous years wheat stubble still looks good. It held moisture through the drought.

Funds are showing there power across the grain markets. Beans won't break and corn and wheat are running higher... this is why you rarley bet against them...

@Zach768641 It’s tough to say, we’re in the early days of a bull market.
Having said this, we put out a note that we cut length to add the lagging markets & wheat vol is a little juicy.

History says KC wheat has room to run. Here is a look back at 2018 (poor crop), 2023 (terrible crop), and 2024 (poor early rebounded later) in comparison to where we are now. I have a full analysis coming out later today with the updated drought monitor.

@Zach768641 @_TheMizzouTiger @GraInformant That’s probably a good bet. I am planting more corn acres than I ever have and I’m planning to double crop a bunch of acres to beans again after wheat harvest in anticipation of old El Niño coming through for us 🤷
