Wait, wait, wait! Everybody calm down! There seems to be some misunderstanding, but I'm not retiring from video game music work! I'm going to cut back a bit on my video game music work because I want to have more time to make the music I want to make. It would be difficult for me to take on the entire soundtrack of a video game because the time commitment for composing would be too long, but I would like to continue to work on jobs such as one theme song. @SnomanGaming I feel like those kinds of movies were great as a low key way to trick parents into letting their kids watch movies with more Teeth than current family movies. It's insane to look back how dark and violent the original Mask was but every 10 year old I knew saw and loved it.

Like, a family man wanting to be with his kids, but doing dirty/vulgar things for laughs. Today it's either a full-on G-PG kids movie, or raunchy PG-13 to R "teen" flicks, there isn't really this blend of "funny comedian lead for adults, with a good moral" anymore.

I've been watching a bunch of 90's flicks lately and it's crazy how these types of movies simply aren't made anymore - a 'family-movie' premise with very not-for-family language and jokes. e.g. Mrs. Doubtfire, Liar Liar, Beetlejuice.
