Alright, so we started working on Parvo AI. Today was mostly about doing deep research on how to lay a proper architectural foundation for the project so we understand the trade-offs behind every decision and why we're choosing each tool. We also started working on the landing page and waitlist to give people a glimpse of what we're building. It's still pretty plain for now, but we'll probably refine the design tomorrow. They kind of ruin the flow of it. I understand that fintechs like OPay and Kuda can partner with banks to issue virtual accounts for users. What I'm trying to understand is OPay's implementation. OPay uses your phone number (without the leading 0) as your account number. If the virtual account is being issued by a partner bank, how does that work? Is the partner bank actually issuing that phone-number-based account number? Or does OPay map that phone-number-based account number to a different account number behind the scenes? Or can a fintech request a specific account number (like a user's phone number) from the banking infrastructure when provisioning a virtual account? Curious to hear from anyone who's worked on banking infrastructure or payment systems.
