Dear #twitterEPs, I’ve been trying to find a way, for about two weeks now, to know what the right way of speaking about the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza is. I’m scared about the language I use and the way it might come across, especially because I identify as Muslim 1/3

I have delivered trauma interventions for war-affected kids in various countries. It’s devastating. I wish we didn’t have to. Psychology should focus on prevention, and the ultimate prevention is peace I’d love to see more of the psychology community calling for a #CeasefireNOW

As the famous quote goes, "Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly." This serves as a reminder to anyone who has a goal or dream. Keep trying, and eventually, you will achieve it.

I applied to the doctorate course four times (3 years in a row) and it was only on my final attempt that I was granted a place. The application and interview process is a massive task that requires months of preparation. With a 4% success rate, there is a lot competition.

I finally graduated today after completing my doctorate one year ago! Today is the day I can proudly say that it wasn't an easy journey, but I did it, and I'm soooo proud of myself.
