@JimEagleUC I think most would die before anything became over hunted. They don’t have to skills/tools to preserve meat, purify water, etc.

Something most don’t think about in SHTF or Grid down, is hunting.
Like oh. Cool you’re just gonna go from urban bug man to bubba hogskinner overnight?
There’s a lot more to hunting than sitting in a blind and pulling a trigger.
MORE IMPORTANT, and my main point…
EVERYONE would be doing this. So how many days till the animal population drops to critical levels?
Would we need to have militias regulating overhunting? Local patrols keeping score of who’s hunting what in their AOR? Making sure only locals hunt their county? Enforcing bag limits?
