I been on the quiet side lately due to my mom being in the hospital.
She had a gall bladder infection in which she had surgery a few days ago.
She's much better now in which they releasing her now on her Birthday!!!

People are cooking OP when there are many other games that improve upon what CT set out to do. CT is a great game, but I argue games like Radiant Historia ultimately fleshed out stuff like the rewind system in a more compelling way.

finished chrono trigger for the first time I'm surprisingly underwhelmed when this is a game that's been held in high esteem for decades. I respect its scope, structure, and presentation but the writing refuses to flesh itself out and the gameplay is thoroughly unremarkable

I never got this mentality. Handhelds are meant to be played! I've played my Switch while waiting for my car to be fixed or while on the Subway. Most people don't care and all you need to do is pay attention to your surroundings.

Lastly, if you know of a title you'd like to purchase from any of these publishers that we don't have listed, we take requests and will add it to the site if in print!

@inkfycreates I remember a lot things from the PS2 era and I don't remember anyone talking about a backlog. PS2 cases aren't small. No one really keeps around a bunch of game they don't play.
Digital doesn't have a physical space problems.

I argue they didn't become a thing until the PS4, in which, gaming on PC became extremely accessible, encouraging hoarding. Digital games often had really cheap sales. Various filtering systems and user reviews being more common helped avoid shovelware more.

Something crazy that many younger people don't realize - backlogs never really became a thing until really the PS2 era. Before that games really didn't have bloat, they didn't take forever, and there just weren't that many super long RPGs either. Gaming was much more manageable

@inkfycreates There was also a lot of trading back then. Didn't like a game you bought but your cousin did. Just trade it to them. They most likely had a game you wanted.

@inkfycreates That's all correct but there's a few I would like to add about it. Especially about saving. My brother and I literally pooled together 24 dollars in loose change around the house to get Chrono Cross.

What made gaming work for middle class teens in the 2000's to early 2020 is that you could still save up and buy what you wanted knowing you could get a discount, sale, or lucky bargain. Now? Companies remove incentives to encourage newcomers from joining into the hobby. x.com/LeanandCuisine…

@inkfycreates Video game renting was huge back in the day. Not just Blockbuster but you had small mom and pops stores where you can do 1 day rentals for 3 dollars.

I don't hang those area's. Last time I did I got invited to an art gallery because my work was featured. Only for them to call security when I showed up.

You do not have to be "special" to be a victim of a crime. There are many normal people who are victims of crime every day. They never thought anything would happen to them, but they did, and now they have to live with the aftermath.

@CoGoop @inkfycreates Yeah it happened twice but was over a decade ago. First time was with some lady on the street I happened to be walking behind. (I was a whole block away from her). Second I blame my apartment complex for making us paranoid of our neighbors.
