When I first flew to the USA, the border patrol officer wanted to know exactly where I am staying, how long I am staying and when I'll be flying back home. I had to give the DHS my personal data through the ESTA form. They could have gotten me 24/7 if I overstayed. This is not about discouraging illegal migration. This is purely overt racism. @therealbuni Eu entendo que 15 anos é um absurdo. No entanto, o Ministério Público e os juízes estão de "mãos atadas". Todos precisam seguir as leis. Se a lei precisa ser revista, isso é tema do legislativo... Ou do Supremo Tribunal Federal, que às vezes sente-se legislativo.

Stephen Colbert is going to write a movie about the six missing chapters from Jackon's The Fellowship of the Ring film. Really. Colbert is admittedly a huge Tolkien fan, and he knows his lore. But the well for stories is so much deeper than just filling in the gaps from Jackson's films--with this and the hunt for Gollum we're just getting footnote films. Nothing new, just more info. My bet is this will be a flashback of the Hobbit's telling their kids this story. I'm skeptical.
