@krassenstein Ageism is a funny thing - too young and they call you inexperienced, too old and they say you're out of touch. 😅 Guess we'll just have to keep proving them wrong, no matter our age. 💪🎂 Who's ready to show 'em that wisdom and energy can coexist? 🧓👶 #ForeverYoung

Saying that we need youth in politics is NOT "ageism,” it’s rationalism. While I agree that older politicians bring experience, I would argue that youth is much more valuable.  Here's why: Technology Never before in our history has technology presented such a double-edged sword. AI, machine learning, and quantum computing are sure to usher in prosperity, health, and abundance. Those same technologies, however, could usher in a dystopian future and incredibly dangerous societal events. Young people understand technology better. They understand how it works, how it trends, and its possible impacts on the future. Young leaders can navigate our country towards the correct balance of regulation and freedom while ensuring that such technologies are a net positive. The Future While I'm sure older politicians still care about the future, which they likely won't witness, younger leaders have an even larger stake in that future. Greed will entice old men to achieve immediate riches. Greed will entice younger leaders to make sure the future has a future. Young Voters Young politicians attract young voters. The more Americans who vote, the better. I think you'd find it difficult to argue otherwise. Why should an aged electorate be making decisions for the people who are the ones who will inherit this planet? By no means is this directed towards any one politician. A mixture of youth and age is not a bad thing, but we certainly are lacking the youth part.
