Major institutional funds are accumulating positions → preparing for a potential rally → stay patient and wait for a clear entry signal.

$BTC You can consider a short around 80,014 for a quick trade. Today is all about staying focused and locking in profits.

$BTC I went long at 78,850, adjusted my position along the way, and it paid off —closed the full position at 80,274 for solid profits. Did you keep up? 7:59 a.m.

$BTC Currently in a consolidating uptrend. Potential long entry around 78,850 → start with a small position to test → build in stages.

$BTC Smart money is accumulating at this stage, but they’re not going to make it easy for retail to get in. The goal: Shake out the impatient and force mistakes in the middle of the range. What retail should do: Wait for confirmation.

So the question is: With selling pressure above and support below, what can retail traders actually do? This is a classic structure: Breakout → shakeout → recovery → consolidation A strong impulse pushed price up to around 79,200 — a clear liquidity sweep. But it couldn’t hold, followed by a sharp sell-off that flushed out late longs. Then the structure started to repair, and the market is now rebuilding a bullish setup. The 78,600 – 78,800 zone is the prior range midpoint — a key bull/bear pivot. 78,800 – 79,200 → overhead supply / trapped longs (distribution zone) 78,100 – 78,300 → prior shakeout low (demand/support zone) Right now, the market is in a final consolidation phase before the next move. If 78,600 fails to hold, it could signal a real shift to weakness.

I have to say, the long-to-short switch worked out really well. I opened a short around 78,722—did you catch the move?

$BTC Around 78,450 could be a potential short-term long entry.

So the question is: How do we identify the right entry signal? Right now, it looks like large institutional players are shaking out the market and accumulating in a range, likely preparing for a move higher.

$BTC If it breaks below around 78,192, you can consider a short-term short position.
