
It all depends on the minimum specs for the game you’d like to play. I know new hardware unlocks new potential for immersion and efficiency, but not all games need that. Most can still run fine in older hardware or better if it’s well optimized and not a resource hog like bad game ports. But at the end of the day, it’s just a preference whether one would want to upgrade or not. I only brought that up due to current hardware prices. I’d say the longer people can use their current setup for future games, the better for gamers.
