The Army Chief of Staff, a combat veteran with tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, asked Pete Hegseth why he was blocking the promotions of two Black officers and two female officers who had earned them. Hegseth refused to answer. Then he fired him. Nine U.S. officials told NBC News that Hegseth has blocked or delayed promotions for more than a dozen Black and female senior officers across all four branches of the military. Hegseth has now fired or sidelined more than a dozen generals and admirals. He is an out-of-control, unqualified former TV host and nobody in the Republican Party will say a word about it because they don’t want to make Trump angry. nbcnews.com/politics/natio…

Brian Cox says "they don't like women" in America and "the patriarchy is a f*cking mess." "They won’t let a woman be president, not in the foreseeable future. Look what happened to Hillary Clinton. The patriarchy is so invasive and so insidious, it’s hard to throw it off. I think the patriarchy is a fucking mess, and it’s the patriarchy that got us into the position that we’re in at the moment, and we don’t learn the lessons. I say, give it over to the women.” (via The Times of London) variety.com/2026/tv/news/b…

@TPWSpodcast It’s absolutely a 2K mandate. They prioritize monetizing their games. As much as I love the dev team and know they are passionate about wrestling, they work for 2K. The best for gamers long term would be for the license to go elsewhere.

Here's the thing. I hear this and see this A LOT. But... They have analytics that show people play this mode. They designed it to make sure you don't miss events. Creating FOMO in the community. Id honestly suggest just not giving into it. I think the majority of fans that hate it. Doesn't outweigh the whales that spend the money. That's why we keep seeing price increases. They are pushing it to see just how far people will go. Just don't buy into it. I honestly dont believe its the developers making the prices or the call for pack odds. Keep that in mind when GTA finally comes out. After all... It's the same company, lol.

@TPWSpodcast This mode doesn’t deserve anyone’s energy. These games have always been about the roster & freedom to play how you want. Locking certain “personas” behind a pay wall in one mode based on grinding & gambling is unacceptable. MyFaction is the worst thing to happen to this series.

@GameVolt1 @UniqueMazique how can you guys justify these prices? This is not ok, it takes away from the other stuff you guys have been doing to make the mode better.

This week, 450,000 New Yorkers will receive notices that they will lose essential healthcare as a direct result of Trump’s Big Ugly Bill. My Democratic colleagues and I opposed this GOP bill and predicted this exact outcome. Despite our warning, every single New York House Republican voted in favor of the bill. They are directly responsible for the hardships our constituents are about to encounter, but would rather dodge the ire of the President than serve those that elected them.
