Humble Tributes to the Tall Man of Odisha, Biju Patnaik, on his birth anniversary. He was much more than a politician. A man whose courage shaped history across borders. • Kashmir, 1947: As a daring pilot, he flew Dakota aircraft carrying Indian troops to Srinagar during the emergency airlift after Jammu & Kashmir acceded to India, a mission that helped secure the city from invading forces. Carrying 17 soldiers of the 1st Sikh Regiment led by Lt. Col. Dewan Ranjit Rai, Biju Patnaik first flew low over the Srinagar airstrip twice to ensure it had not been captured by raiders. With strict instructions from Prime Minister’s office not to land if the airport had fallen, he circled the airfield at low altitude. Seeing it empty and secure, he safely landed the aircraft. • Indonesia, 1947: In another bold operation, he flew into Dutch-controlled Indonesia and rescued leaders of the Indonesian independence movement, helping them reach safety. Biju Patnaik, along with his wife, flew to an airstrip near Jakarta and landed on an improvised runway. Using leftover fuel from abandoned Japanese military dumps, he managed to take off with Indonesian leaders including Sutan Sjahrir and Sukarno. They were flown on a Douglas C-47 Dakota aircraft to India via Singapore, reaching New Delhi on 24 July 1947 for a secret meeting with Indian leadership. Two missions. Two nations. One fearless pilot. #BijuPatnaik #Odisha

@talok253 Bro don't post these AI made up stories or Doing copy paste. It's already 10 years With 4 company switches then another switch after minimum 3-4 years which then you got the 95 LPA package. So do math before pasting those stories

My bhaiya’s story about his career, He started as a fresher at ₹6 LPA. Then it went like this: 1.₹6L to ₹10L (same company, ~24 months, learned a lot but growth slowed) 2.Switch: ₹12L (product role, better team, better code practices, Work for year) 3.Switch: ₹17L (took full responsibility for one service) work for 3 years 4.Switch: ₹40L (worked on scale issues, handled incidents) work for 4 years 5.Switch: ₹50L wider responsibilities, mentored developers, joined design discussions) 6.Switch: ₹95L (Work from home + performance bonus) It takes arounds 10 years to make ₹95L . 5 switches. Skills grow over time, but salary usually changes more when you switch. The best part of his journey is he is healthy after exploring multiple cities and multiple schedules. Now, he is doing Work from home and part time trading also, he is planning to retire at 40, now he is 32.

No Metro in Odisha. No High-Speed Rail approved for Odisha. What did Odisha get? 👉 Freight corridor passing through the state to move the minerals out. A state that contributes massively to the national exchequer deserves better. 🗣️ Odias, speak up. Demand your rights.

Semiconductors, high speed rails bippharma hubs, freight corridors all gone! #Odisha is left off the map. No special package, no new infrastructure, silence on airports , silence on Metro Rail project . I refuse to accept this. I stand for Odisha and I will raise my voice against this injustice. #UnionBudget2026 #odisha

I express my disappointment on the #Budget2026 presented today by the Union Government. The budget has offered no noteworthy benefits to #Odisha and its people. The anticipation from the people of Odisha was that the double engine government would offer a growth momentum with focus on infrastructure, job creation and additional allocation which is due to the state. The state has received very little. I welcome the proposal to establish the Rare Earth Corridor in Odisha. Odisha is the leading producer of several key minerals and will always contribute to nation building through its rich resources. It has again been announced to have National Waterways to connect mineral rich areas and industrial centres to the Ports. But this is a decade old proposal without any progress on the ground. It is a huge disappointment for the people of Odisha that the announcement to develop seven High-Speed Rail corridors between cities as ‘growth connectors’ does not feature Odisha. Odisha BJP nipped the #BhubaneswarMetro project earlier and the neglect of people’s needs continues as usual. And it’s quite baffling that the Tourism centric Scheme for Development of Buddhist Circuits has completely skipped Odisha despite having several very important Buddhist sites including our Diamond Triangle. As seen from the entirety of the Union Budget, Odisha is getting allocations only for taking its natural resources away and completely ignored when it comes to resource allocation for benefit of people of the State. It’s time the State BJP Govt takes responsibility for people of Odisha and ensure they get their rightful dues from centre. Odisha and its people deserve more and better from the Union Budget.
