Hey all - my name is Ze’ Castle - I may seem the silent type - the truth is that I’m busy with creating, constructing a shoot together, and managing a fractured life style as a seeker. A mixture of old and new photography (Not AI) I use Lightroom version 4: (a dinosaur) but it is the last version before Adobe converted it into a subscription model. You don’t need the latest and greatest version. Pay once and own it. I use color gels, prisms, practical effects such as powder, smoke grenades, snow, and many more. I also did the makeup work. Yep that’s a real heart in the photo. I’m super curious about tinkering with a projector. And would love to learn how to make my own headdresses.

I had to share this for the sake of your core.

Tip: bypass the group think. Cause there’s truly an attribute in human nature that overrides the beauty of the individual when a third person enters the stage. It’s like the whole universe disappears when there’s a third set of eyes. Tribalism/group think is a killer.

To be frank with this odd world that periodically functions on labels and boxes. I’m not a traditional photographer, I’m just an awkward art kid with a camera. And I hope you come across those who are, cause it’s beautiful to have a real one on one with them.

“With No Pack Beside Her” There’s a peculiar loneliness in being wired for depth in a world wired for speed. Some pause where others scroll. With stained glass thoughts, internally asking questions, embracing quiet symbolism. Outside, everything hums with updates and upgrades.

Disconnect is truly a healthy choice, don’t have to take it from me. 🫡🙃😉Touch grass and pay attention to your body. Recharge and notice the environment, do your best to counteract the artificial turmoils of divide and conquer tactics. Tra la la la and all that jazz. I’m drunk

Worldly hipsters pride themselves on discernment. You can smell a sellout from three subcultures away. You know when a collaboration is just a networking costume party. And yet, for all that self awareness, we hesitate to share our deeper concerns about why we connect.

They don’t hold weight when values are tested, when art gets instrumentalized, or when community becomes a brand funnel. Art without an artist’s stake is decor. Connection without declared intention is networking. Alignment without voiced concern is just proximity.

What we’re vouching for, and who we’re actually allied with beneath the aesthetic handshake. When you refuse to articulate your concerns about connection, you leave the narrative to vibes alone. Vibes are useful, but vibes don’t testify.

Everything is a gradient. Thats why adjectives are so dangerous when it’s interpreted/misinterpreted.

“Buzz words” and trends slows down progress. Innately I only wish people to recognize the divide and conquered verbal/meme tactics being deployed for so long.
