Hit the wrong button and lost $150,000 8 months ago I tried to download software so I can live stream me playing video games Clicked a Google ads link and got taken to a fake site Downloaded the software and instantly had every account to my name hacked Thank god I’m not here without that event My crypto wallets were drained My email and newsletter accounts were hijacked I was embarrassed on a public stage like you can’t imagine For months (and even to this day) I get nonstop DMs and replies about how much of an idiot I am for being hacked (real level headed people on this platform) I don’t think I am where I am today without that event I don’t think I’m creating content full time I don’t think I’m living my dream every day I don’t think I have the community and relationships I’ve built As long as you have your health, nothing else matters Some lunatic named Kanye West once said “that that that that don’t kill me, can only make me stronger” It’s facts though Anything outside of you losing your health only makes you better The mental anguish from that even drove me 10x harder Drove me to pick up more skills Drove me to work on my coding Drove me to triple down on my strengths I’m not writing the content I’ve been writing without that event I'm not driven to network and build relationships like my life depended on it If you’re reading this right now and are going through something: I promise you it always gets better If you have your health, then you have it better than you can imagine Take that pain and let it drive you People who have never gone through hardship don't know how bad they have it Keep pushing
