1. Try these guys, I use them for business in Gauteng. They have public liability in case anything goes wrong or breaks.
2. You could just rent a bakkie from Avis, it's like R1.1k per day a trailer is R300 per day. If moved yourself in 2 days this would set you back R2800 plus additional kilometres, petrol and tolls. Doubt this would cost you over R6k
3. If you have time on your hands try find a guy who is driving a truck in Malelane to Joburg. They generally have empty legs or know someone who could possibly have an empty leg. They'd charge you a lot less. I paid someone R3000 to move furniture from Louis Trichardt to Joburg (400km)

@Zee_Shamase_ Please try Intertrans Movers. I used them to move from Cape Town to Richards Bay and it was really an affordable rate. No complaints whatsoever, great service.
English

@SandileRoc That’s still a bit steep for me, especially since it doesn’t include insurance and packing

@Zee_Shamase_ Aha. They gave me a good quote to Durban and back but I had to use my own hands. It was half of what you mentioned here. There and back.
English

@B____D___ Lmao what was happening?
Even without the “add-ons”, they aren’t a viable option
English

English

@Zee_Shamase_ @_Bonga Not a moving truck. I use these guys for work & they are affordable. Its just the truck & driver. You would have to get your own hands to do the heavy lifting. I can help you with that if you dont have and if its a Gauteng job. I work in events and know hands. Portia 0630625352
English

@Zee_Shamase_ Use mainstream ones. Pickfords, Stuttaford Van Lines, Biddulphs.
