@AmericanAir I DM’d you, as requested, and I’ve already filed out two forms about my suitcase And received nothing but automated responses.
How will you make this right before Monday?
English

@ZelWms Thanks for sharing your details. Our Baggage team are the experts to handle such claims and provide next steps for any possible interim expenses. We'd recommend reaching out to them via Reservations at 800-433-7300. Our apologies for any inconvenience.

hey @AmericanAir before I got on my flight, a staff member told me that my bag fell off the luggage cart and run over. He said it was taped up and would make it to my destination but I'd need to file a report when I arrived. I fly back on Monday and need a suitcase for my trip...

English

@AmericanAir That crushed suitcase held gifts for my family's belated holiday celebration, several items in the suitcase were damaged.
My flight home is Monday, January 12. I need a suitcase to fly back with... What will you do to make this right?
English

@ZelWms Hi there. We're truly sorry to hear your bag was damaged. Please share with us in DM your confirmation code and your damaged file claim number.
English

@AmericanAir That's just the exterior, multiple items inside the bag are damaged. DM'ing you.
English

@jina I was just discussing this very concept with a friend yesterday!

@ta8bitha That is not silly at all!
For your consideration, both Clonidine and Guanfacine can help with anxiety. They are the most common along with Strattera, I haven't tried that one.
You can take C or G plus a stimulant. They are complementary treatments. I take Vyvanse + Clonidine.
English

@ZelWms That’s super interesting thanks for sharing! At the moment they’re trying to manage the anxiety so we can try stimulants again later. I think it sounds a bit silly but wanted to give anything a try.
Thank you! I’ll bring this up :)

@Finnattentive Before I got my official diagnosis I was on Wellbutrin and tried a slew of SRRIs that made me feel worse.
I was actually backdoored into my ADHD diagnosis because of a BED misdiagnosis where they put me on Phentermine (works but is the worst) then Vyvanse.
English

@Finnattentive I take Vyvanse in the morning and take Clonidine ER in the early evening to reduce impulsivity and anxiety as my stimulant wears off.
I also have a delayed sleep cycle and insomnia as side affect/co-condition so I take Trazodone to help fall asleep faster and stay asleep.
English

@CopaceticMES And I apparently retweeted the thread and found it when I was looking for something else just now… 🙃
English

@CopaceticMES Another ADHD thread recommended taking an electrolyte supplement to help with this side effect.
I just started last week and found it reduced the dry mouth and is overall helpful for hydration.
Happy to link you what I’m trying if that’s helpful.
English

@ta8bitha I mention it because my doctor hadn’t heard of using those meds for ADHD treatment.
I brought in several research articles and reviewed them with him. He did research on his own and then was happy to prescribe them.
He told me he plans to offer them as an option to others now.
English

@ta8bitha I obviously don’t know your heart problems. I wonder if a non-stimulant would work for you? Some of them were originally blood pressure medications so I could be completely off base.
Most are approved for ADHD kids but are considered off label for adults
healthychildren.org/English/health…
English

@Salfromaus @Finnattentive Hey, there are other non-stimulants you can get for ADHD. The majority of them were studied and approved for kids with ADHD and are considered “off label” for adults. The two most common are Guanfacine ER and Clonidine ER. You can take them to supplement stimulants or alone.
English

@Finnattentive Are there non stimulant adhd drugs? I need the opposite if anything, definitely do not need amphetamines
English

@RedQueenCoder He’s so cute! Can I ask how old he is? A lot of friend’s dogs and some that I’ve fostered went through a crate rebellion. Heck my dog did, happy to chat strategies if you want? Crate training is such a great skill for travel and emergency evacuation situations.
