@Artedeingenio In most art, you have maximal agency over the tool. With AI, your agency basically ends in the idea phase. You're more like the customer of an artist, not the artist.

My favorite complaint from AI haters is: "you didn’t do anything, the AI did it." Name a single art form where you can create something without a tool. Following that logic, the pencil makes the drawing, the brush makes the painting, the chisel makes the sculpture, and the camera takes the photo. So the only art that deserves to be called art would be the one that exists only in the mind and is never materialized. The problem is, if it’s never expressed, you can’t even know if it truly exists. Schrödinger’s art.
