I've made enough money to retire early at 39 and have a family with 2 young kids age 6&7
I'm a bit torn as I've struggled for purpose since I'm semi-retired... I've applied to be a volunteer auxiliary for the police in a city near Toronto Ontario but I still love business (I run an industrial Diesel powertrain company) as I've built three e-commerce website from scratch despite not having any formal training in any of this (I'm a licensed mechanic) and want to learn the ropes of what you do.
I'm building my own 7 node supercluster in my basement to run a 400b param for openclaw just for funsies to replace myself at my business.

How do you plan on sending your vehicle to the fleet if it doesn't have the ability to get out and clean its cameras?
Will people with a MY have to go rescue their vehicle in some random location far away just because its cameras got too dirty to continue to operate?
What I am suggesting is not crazy or economically un-feasible. Its actually VERY cheap.

I regularly check the cameras and clean if necessary before driving.
You can't expect that from a customer of a driverless taxi.

I'm not stopping every dozen miles, but realistically every night I park my truck and the camera heater dries out all the salt brine around my cameras leaving a film that is incredibly hazy and I get FSD warnings about visibility. I don't believe I am asking for too much on a $140k (CAD) Pickup truck.

All the cybertruck owners I know, including the two that I own are in desperately need for rear camera sprayers. It is incredibly stupid to not have put rear sprayers as we have no rearward visibility should be backup camera become dirty (which happens almost every drive)
I hope there is a retrofit kit soon.

@ZeroCool @SawyerMerritt fingers, you dont have a towel with some water. i know tons of people in the north who own tesla that use FSD for ALL of their miles. a guy just did a coast to coast to coast ride 12K miles with 100% on FSD in january he went through plenty of places where it snows

@miasorety @SawyerMerritt That is a retarded assumption, in northern climates that uses brine solutions almost daily we have to clean our cameras with our fingers like stupid peasants.

@ZeroCool @SawyerMerritt All other tesla have OWNERS that can CLEAN their own cameras. you cant expect a robotaxi rider to wipe the cameras down. I have NEVER had to manually clean my cameras i run it through the automated wash 3-4 times a month and that is enough
