Gordo, I typically enjoy your takes, this one misses. BADLY. At the end of the day; THIS all falls on ownership. If you owned a company, and your employees were failing, and miserably, would you keep them. No matter the parameters Breslow was given, ownership signs off on them. Since when do owners say "do what you can do" with no repercussions? Mookie; Henry owned the Club. FUCKING GARBAGE. Boegarts; HENRY OWNED the club. GARBAGE. Letting Schwarber walk, Henry owned the CLUB. GARBAGE. Devers, Henry shouldve been in that clubhouse, MAKE IT WORK. The list goes on, HENRY is not active, and if he is, SELL THE TEAM. Cause he has no interest in putting the best club together. Proof is in the pudding.

Tough sequence brewing here:
The Red Sox ruined their relationship with Rafael Devers in the name of making Alex Bregman their 3B.
So they traded Devers for a package centered around Kyle Harrison and James Tibbs.
Despite that, they let Alex Bregman walk just 7 months later over a no-trade clause.
So they gave that money to Ranger Suarez (8.64 ERA in 2 GS so far) despite having a full rotation.
And made Caleb Durbin (.204 OPS so far) the new 3B.
And traded Kyle Harrison (2.61 ERA in 2 GS so far) and more to the Brewers to get him.
James Tibbs (7 homers in 9 games this year in AAA) was traded last year for half a season of Dustin May (5.40 ERA in 6 games for BOS).

@ZeroSweatBet @BOSSportsGordo Id like to have Bregman or Devers at 3B this year. That said, they are NOT playing to their potential. This is a fine team on paper, no glaring weakness to speak of. Hypothetically they could be the most talented and still lose if they don’t play up to their collective talents.

This lineup just doesn't work.
Their best two hitters are Anthony and Abreu, and there are 3 hitters in between them to kill rallies. Duran isn't an RBI guy, and he's batting third. Durbin is 0-for-2026 and is protecting Abreu.
