So the Red Sox chose to send Tyler Samaniego and his 1.04 ERA down to Triple-A for 36 year old Danny Coulombe and his 5.63 ERA and 4.2 BB/9? How does this move help this team win games right now? And this move certainly does nothing for the future of this organization. I understand the Red Sox will say this is about having “LHP depth in the organization ” but if the better player is in Triple-A, then it’s not depth.
