@seth_barley @shitpost_2049 you just run after them and do a slide attack. you dont have to hit every beat. it doesn't penalize you for just not attacking or doing anything, just for trying to attack between beats.

@seth_barley @shitpost_2049 animations and attack rate are locked to the BPM of the song. if song slow attacking and animations are slow, if song fast- you get the idea. attacking on beat awards more points and adds to your combo counter, attacking off beat resets the counter. its a score attack game.

@shitpost_2049 I need to know how this game works. Batman Arkham gameplay? Makes sense. Rhythm games? Makes sense. Combining the two? How do you make sure that works?!

@RafaelDarte36 i mean to be fair its much easier to animate the right one than the left one by hand. if this was a CG animation i would 100% agree with you.

@whyyylmao @gigahurtzgamer @SteamDeckHQ @valvesoftware til! i dont use a playstation controllers (actually never have owned any sony consoles so have never owned one of their controllers) you could probably get it to work by running it under Steam and just use Steam Input.

@ZeroZero_Python @gigahurtzgamer @SteamDeckHQ @valvesoftware you still technically do - not all games have dinput built in. forza horizon 5 is on PS5, yet doesn’t pick up a PS Controller.

A huge thank you to @Valvesoftware for sending over a #SteamController for us to review! Can't wait to deep dive into it and test how well it will integrate into PC gaming.

@gigahurtzgamer @SteamDeckHQ @valvesoftware i mean i would rather need to use steam to program the controller per game than need to re-edit the firmware on the controller any time i want to use it on a different game. i am sure someone will develop a tool to translate it to xinput. i have a 2015 model and have zero issues.

@gigahurtzgamer @SteamDeckHQ @valvesoftware wasnt that long ago that you needed a piece of software to translate playstation controller inputs to xinput. besides the steam controller is a keyboard according to your OS. its set up this way because the alternative is editing the firmware.
