@0_unknown01 @LuffyVL_56 To be fair, they didn't really call DS generic. Nothing anyone has listed in response to this point is really iconic to the point people outside the fandom will recognize it. Meanwhile, scenes like Ichigo's first use of Bankai or the "That wasn't a Getsuga" are very identifiable.

@Zero_Phantasm @elvenmaidinn Isekai lit. means "another world". so technically speaking everything that is not our world and our reality is another world tho it is used usually for transmigration or transportation into another world (not specifically summoned)

I still love Isekai, but there are too many of them and the worst part is that a lot of them do not need to be Isekai, MC never addressed his past life, never used his knowledge from past life and it was completely ignored for the entire anime. The Isekai trope was put there just so it has an Isekai tag. Shows like Frieren, Sentence to be A Hero or Apothecary Diaries show that you can have Fantasy Story without Isekai trope.

@_gnosn But, for games with good waifus that ain't EOS'ed... Star Savior definitely comes to mind. It's still in early life, but. Imagine Umamusume Gameplay loop, but instead of racing, you have a fantasy RPG with turn-based battles. And a MUCH Better variety of modes and things to do.

@_gnosn DanMachi: Memoria Freese is another great & sadly EOS'd example. Yeah, it was retelling the LN/Anime for the most part... But good GOD, the Argonaut event. That story had me in TEARS. The first time I ever cried over a story in a Gacha, legit. (This was before NIKKE was out LOL)
