@blessedcasual It's not even close. GSP is worse everywhere. Look at what Hendricks was able to do with a little bit of striking & wrestling. Now imagine Islam, Southpaw(takes away GSP's leg kicks & jab), better striking, better wtestling, better subs. There is legit no path to victory for GSP.

This is why you don't make these kinds of statements about your game. "Defensive, Aggressive, Basic" ext. because now you've boxed yourself into a philosophy that might not work. Tekken 8 removed a lot of what made Tekken, Tekken, so much nuance that I worry is never coming back.

Tekken 8 is the perfect sad example of what happens when you commit to a gimmick vision like "aggression" for you game. The dev team feels like they can't make the changes fans want because that's not the vision for the game. They can't let it go for some reason...

Just nerf Lee's 1+2 3+4 frames on block so people shut up about this move. I'm so tired of the discourse around Lee revolving around this mediocre move. Nerf it back to -1 or 0. Literally makes no difference in how good or bad he is.

@HoS08006 @slytigertalim SSR Duck never worked against HMS. Just watch any good Lee player, they will punish you for doing that all day. He already has better options to deal with SSR Duck.

Btw any decent player knew that you always ssr duck Lee when he goes into HMS, now he can stop your ssr from the looks of it And that imo represents the back to basics but that’s just me

@Zero_The_Shadow It's great to stop someone from stepping to his weak side in hms. Now hms is finnaly good. Before this hms was weak cause u can just ssr everything and they took out hms uf3 and hms uf4 into df44

@FightingGM The issue is that the stance used to be weak to SSR duck. This addition covers that weakness. Making Lee's homing +oB mid CH launcher a more legit stance mixup for a character no supposed to have good stance mixups is stupid

Before people start going crazy it tracks 1 way which is to the right after 1+2 into hms. U can side walk it to the left. Also the 1+2 is only plus 2 on block. So u can jab lee, 11 frame move, armor, parry, heat etc. Hes just showing that u can't side step the strong side

@AksmashPre59302 Having f2,1 from hms makes hms a real mixup stance. Ssr/ssr duck was really good counterplay vs hitman but they just gave him a good option to beat it. They also gave him like 4 other substantial buffs

Lee so broke now they just removed his singular weakness

What an absolutely usless patch for Lee.

I swear if Lee's d/f+1 gets a follow up that does something on CH and d/f+1 becomes -3...
