No one was saying shit in Mark Popes first season at Kentucky. They unexpectedly went to the Sweet 16 with an average team w/ season ending injuries. With the portal and NIL he should be positioned to get top talent and compete instantly and he’s just not doing that.

Are Duke, UNC and Kansas fans belittling their coaches like we are. I have no problem with a passionate and committed fan base. But until Pope gets his sea legs, #BBN is hurting his effort. Come on! We all know the Kentucky basketball coaching job is as tough as any in sports. Few are groomed to step in immediately and operate at the level expected from the faithful. Pope’s a smart guy…really smart and every decision is a learning lesson. He is two years up a very steep learning curve. Do we really want to toss out our investment in a young coach, only to watch it bite us in the ass when we lands somewhere else.

Was live on air when Tyran Stokes committed to Kansas. But have to say: I've tried to be fair to Mark Pope. But Kentucky having his assistants sub-tweet recruits - that UK wasn't getting might be the worst move yet. Beyond recruiting struggles, optics are flat terrible
