On #RareDiseaseDay2024, we highlight the work of the Undiagnosed Diseases Network, a collaborative research venture funded by @NIH to bring together clinical and research experts, which use flies, worms, and #zebrafish to diagnose human genetic diseases.

Our latest paper is out today in @eLife. We show that Urotensin II-related peptides control the morphology of the zebrafish spine. This helps us understand cues underlying spine shape and may provide insight into spinal curvatures like #scoliosis. elifesciences.org/articles/83883
