How does the the linear games like oot or tp have more replay value then botw? it doesn't! it's the same every time! That being said- people are right to be fatigued by it's gameplay loop. The next Zelda needs to have a different hyrule.

People back then were already fatigued by the formula and it's arguably the least liked 3D game in the series. NONE of the pre botw games sold nearly as well as it did. There was no betrayal here, it was a necessary change for zelda.

@SulTANgent @ZifyM50556 @Usaanyan @pory_leeks the last traditional style 3d zelda game was skyward sword in 2011 it’s not at all unreasonable for the people who enjoyed the series for the nearly two decades before botw was announced to feel betrayed by the direction the series has taken 🤷🏻‍♀️

They belong to the old school zelda fan that doesn't understand the future games are open world from now on. Pretty sure they won't mess with the legacy of OOT, the remake will be similar to the 3DS one.
