A Pirate’s Journal - Entry 9: Still Chasing That Booty 🏴‍☠️ Hey Base Fam, another day of salty grind on these Base seas. 🏅Still sitting comfy at number 4 with 1346.2 gold in the chest. Not bad, but I’m over 200 gold behind 3rd. That guy is hoarding a decent reserve to drop whenever he wants. New goal: pull away from 5th so he stops breathing down my neck. No more relaxing in the top 5, time to create proper distance. 🦜 The parrot game is stuck at 247. Feels like it’s gotten harder lately… or maybe I’m just terrible at it and the seagulls are having their revenge. I’m smashing buttons like a drunk sailor and still getting destroyed by pixel birds. At least it’s raffle format again, so every parrot earns more tickets. Silver linings. Devs mentioned updates and new competitions this week, which has me properly excited. Finally some fresh wind in the sails. Still hunting that last collectible like my life depends on it. That bottle of rum is dodging me harder than me dodging my exes texts. Classic pirate life, 5 out of 6 found, one legendary troll still hiding and laughing at me. Other than that, nothing much to report. The seas stay grindy. Keep it steady, keep it real. No mercy, no excuses. Next watch? More gold. Always more gold. 🏴‍☠️

One thing I really like in this update from @RuyuiStudios is that they finally gave real utility to their NFTs. Stamina protection, rune multipliers, RR generation, leaderboard bonuses… owning Ruyui NFTs now directly impacts gameplay and progression instead of being just another profile picture.
