@seattleisking @Remroum They shouldn’t have to have preserved it without a country. The country was stolen from them. They have been persecuted in many of their host countries, Holocaust being a prime example. Also, how well have they done in Muslim countries? Not well at all.

@ZircCan @Remroum I am neither Muslim, Palestinian, or Jewish. Jewish culture persevered for thousands of years without a country as well.

Tel Aviv shouldn’t exist. Israel shouldn’t exist. The concept of Israeli should be abolished. The land is Palestine. The people are Palestinian. The land should be returned to its people. The only way forward is through the dismantlement of Zionism, from the river to the sea

Sure…that’s what river to sea means? Palestinian birth rate is such that you’ll dominate the population in 1-2 generations. And you’ll implement Sharia law and not let them live their lives. And the proof of this in how Christians and Jews live in other Muslim countries, you force them to live per your rules or they are infidels. It’s proven time and again the Muslim countries don’t allow non Muslim’s to thrive. Therefore Israel needs their own country to preserve their culture.

@ZircCan @Remroum Israeli's don't have to lose their state. Give everyone between the river and the sea equal rights. Problem solved and Israel still exists.

@YESITS_DANIEL @Remroum Why is the freeze point the date the state was created? Why isn’t the freeze point what’s reality today? Or why isn’t the freeze point before the Ottomans drove the Jews out?

@YESITS_DANIEL @Remroum If you don’t care about historical ties then why not go to Jordan where they are mainly the same ethnically and culturally? Brittain might not have had a right to give it away, but Ottomans had no right to drive the Jews away centuries before either.

@seattleisking @Remroum By this same argument, how many Israeli citizens today were alive during formation of the state? Why should they be held responsible and lose their state for what their ancestors did. Or is it dependent on how many generations back the sin occurred?

@YESITS_DANIEL @Remroum Nobody is the same as their race from even hundreds of years ago. They were dispersed, mixed with other races, but they maintained their culture. The culture more important than the race. There is no historic ties of Palestinians to that land before the Jews were forced out.

Sorry, I took back my house that your ancestors stole from me. Source: History. I’m not Jewish btw. As I recall, Jerusalem was Jewish long before Roman times. King David and King Solomon are undisputed. In Roman times it was King Herrod of Judea. Ottomans swarmed them out, Jews were dispersed, but reorganized and seized back their stolen land. Would be the same of Natives staging an uprising in North America. Likely would never succeed but if it did they’d be justified.

@HistoryBoomer Conservatives didn’t just start paying attention because it was a “hot button issue” we can seize on. We started paying attention because it spilled into the lives and classrooms of our children and we would not stand for it.

Someone should write a history of trans activism and the gender-critical reaction. From all I've read, almost all the early fighting happened in feminist spaces. Think Michigan Womyn's Festival's "womyn-born womyn" policy or Julie Bindel's columns going back to the early 2000s. Conservatives didn't care about inside-feminism wars. C'mon, it's right in the name! "TERF" (Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist) was coined back in 2008, but by the early 2010s, it was being used as a pejorative (I heard it from trans students around then). It's only around 2014 that conservatives started paying a lot of attention, realizing they had a hot issue. Their early efforts floundered (bathroom bills). It's ramped up since then, but so have feminists (hello JK Rowling entering the arena in 2019). So it's more complicated than Chris Rufo doing stuff (although he did do stuff!).
Sami Gold@souljagoyteller

People like Chris Rufo smartly chose wedge issues like trans athletes competing in women’s sports bc it forced liberals to choose between feminism and “the trans”. Since Democrats don’t know and don’t care about how things like HRT work, they didn’t know how to argue back

The NYT reported about how a male serial murderer of women was allowed into a women’s shelter in NYC despite the terror of the women forced to be confined with him. He went on to behead and dismember yet another woman weeks later. He is back in a women’s prison. The people working relentlessly to inflict male murderers and rapists onto women locked in prisons and shelters are zealots who think they are the best people in the world at the vanguard of humanity as they inflict danger and humiliation onto vulnerable women. They are carrying out the will of center-Left political parties across the Western world. There has never been a cult this deranged with this much power in the post-Enlightenment world.

Stay in your fucking lane. We are the LGB...nothing more, nothing less. A cold, hard line drawn in immutable biology: same-sex attraction. Lesbians who want women. Gay men who want men. Bisexuals who navigate both without rewriting reality to accommodate ideology. The rest? They can take their expansionist agenda and get the hell out of our spaces. We built this on shared, material truth...not on subjective internal sense of self, not on compelled speech, not on the endless demand that everyone else erase their own boundaries to affirm someone else's beliefs. Decades of real blood, real arrests, real AIDS graves, real bar raids, real suicides from being told our orientation was a sin...all that sacrifice, only for gender ideology activists to colonize the acronym, turn "homosexual" into a slur in our own house, and brand lesbians bigots for refusing male anatomy no matter how it's hormonally or surgically repackaged. This isn't alliance. This is appropriation. It's textbook exploitation: hijack the empathy and moral framework of a historically oppressed group, then shame and guilt them into submission when they refuse to serve as validation props for an ideological agenda. The gaslighting is relentless...frame refusal as violence, frame boundaries as hate, frame basic sexual dimorphism as erasure. No. We owe you nothing. Our orientation is not a social construct to be deconstructed at your convenience. It is evolutionary wiring, limbic truth, hard limits etched in flesh and neurons. You do not get to demonize our "no" because it inconveniences your narrative. Men are not women. Women are not men. Hormones, surgery, pronouns, and tears do not rewrite chromosomes, skeletal structure, or the visceral revulsion most lesbians feel toward male anatomy...no matter how artfully repackaged or how viciously you shame us for stating the obvious. Stay. In. Your. Fucking. Lane. The sane among us...the ones who still remember what actual same-sex love looks like without ideological asterisks...are done playing nice. Done pretending this expansion is progress instead of erasure. Done letting our flag be used as camouflage for an agenda that sterilizes gay kids, invades women's spaces, and demands we applaud our own obsolescence. We want nothing to do with your ideological quicksand. Cut the cord. Drop the letters. Take your dogma, your coercion, and your endless demands for affirmation and get the fuck out of our lane. We built this road. We bled for it. And we will defend it...with ferocity, with precision, with zero apology. 🗡️💀⚖️
