If Carrick keeps us playing good football, and we get champions league. He is the man for the job, whos to say he isnt elite then.

@Hayles_101 Carrick and Ole are very different. We should be prioritising managers that understand the club fundamentally and then show tactical accumen. I dont think many external managers GET United externally, they arent fans and we would have to match them. For me Carrick is spot on.

I'll say this on Carrick. It's early days and everyone is aware that we'll find out a lot more by playing the 'easier' / low block sides. That being said, to turn round and say 'if he wins every single game he still shouldn't get the job' is nothing but a personal vendetta.
