If anyone has any words of wisdom for deciding between IMT vs GP, it would be appreciated! :)

Here I go. Someone posted data from an FOI request showing significantly increased applications from IMGs. My first problem with the data is how does this translate to IMGs successfully getting a training post? The mere fact that the poster avoided posting things shows that it does not align with their stand as it IMGs have truly taken up much more training posts at the rate the increased number of applicants shows, then that data would have been the major data rather than blanket application numbers. In this post I will prove with data that infact UKMGs are significantly advantaged and indeed they have been more favoured when competition ratios are higher. I will be comparing percentages of total applicants that are UKMGs, EUMGs and Non-EUIMGs with percentage of total successful candidates(i.e accepted a training post). I have analysed EUMGs and Non-EU IMGS for ease of analyses as their numbers are quite small and zero for many specialties. Also, as per the data obtained on HEE website, there is no exact number when candidates that applied or are successful is < 5, so I have put these as zero.
