Can someone explain why my husband and I should be subjected to Palestinian flags hanging inside our local English wine bar, when the Islamic regime they represent, want us dead?

How is this doctor, with these views, allowed to be employed by the NHS.

@AllisonPearson @BBCr4today Hey Pearson, breaking news, 'israel' has no right to exist. At all. It never did. And quite frankly, we are pretty tired of your silly outbursts over a terrorist settler colony of imported psychopaths.

If "We are all Emirati": - Why do low wage labourers get turned away from shopping malls? - Why do labourers get their passports confiscated? - Why do maids get abused by their Emirati employers? - Why does one law apply to Emiratis and another to the 85% who will never get a passport or other rights no matter how long they live there? - Why are non Emiratis one argument away from deportation? - Why are Emiratis so bloody rude to everybody they consider beneath them? Yeah, we are all Emirati.

@GregBaldwinIroh Spice it up. Fry a little red onion, cumin seeds, green chilies. Add a little of the tomato sauce, mix in red chilli powder or smoked paprika if you can't handle heat. Then the can of beans, cook down a little so not so runny.

British blokes…. I’ve purchased several “tins” of Heinz (British) beans because the idea of beans on toast intrigues me. I eagerly anticipate a tasting. Other than toasting bread and heating beans… Are there any other steps/ingredients?

Update from grocery shopping in Dubai this morning. Oranges from Australia, Egypt, Morocco, India, Turkey, China, Pakistan and Vietnam. And that’s just the citrus. Don’t even get me started on the apples. Supermarkets are fully stocked. Supply chains are working exactly as they should. How many of those pushing a “shortage” narrative get this kind of a range wherever they are tweeting from? Maybe it’s time shut up and stop the Dubai bashing.

Reality speaks louder than narratives. In Dubai, people are out shopping, living normally, and feeling safe. That is how confident cities speak for themselves.

@Xeon4f145d96s1 As an FY1 on T&O I got fast bleeped by an IMG SHO who was a senior reg in his own country to manage his patient triggering sepsis because he didn't know what to do. Apparently where he qualified he could just right medical review in the notes and someone else would sort it out.

@HaQ_mAn OJ is an oxymoron, a doctor working in the corporate world, remote? Lol, basically an online consultation BS. I have used these services and they are bull, under qualified and no sense. Keep going and skill up, develop other interests and the job is fulfilling.

@DrETKandi Most img are people who are wealthy enough in their home countries to want to get out. I think there are plenty of other countries you can apply for medical training, so what's the big deal?

You’ll see down the line when they’re celebrating their specialty training offers, that the UK grads were prioritized all along. Every year, the only specialties where IMGs make up a sizable proportion of JOBS FILLED were GP& Psych. But they’ll go on about the competition ratio

Dear Nigerian Muslims, what is this absolute madness? I found this story on the BBC website: A Nigerian Christian man with his Muslim wife! It is totally haraam for a Muslim woman to have a husband from another religion. Is this commonplace in Nigeria? Are Muslims in Nigeria accepting of this corruption? Talk to me.

@jinnieshinnie You are naive to think a doc in any senior role makes a difference. Doctors as CEO still have to deliver more for less, the government decides the budget and DOH the agenda. They have to deliver otherwise they are out and next one in.

Do any other doctors here ever wonder if going into NHS management might be one way to safeguard our profession? Aside of going the clinical director/CMO route, what if a doctor was chief people officer, or COO? How does one even begin to explore this?

And this is the most genius business idea of all time. People pay to have their photo taken in a Harry Potter scarf, pretending to push a luggage trolley through a wall here at King’s Cross Station. That is the queue of people waiting to pay on the right. That queue is there all day, every day, for year after year after year. They must have made tens of millions of pounds from a brick wall. Absolute genius.
