Apparently it’s 伊(い)右衛(え)門(もん) due to some historic hiragana うゑ being shorten and replaced by え

伊右衛門 reads as いえもん why? There aren’t enough hiragana to fit the kanji!?!

This is insane, Waymo vehicles all over SF are bricked due to a power outage.

Uber support decided to refund the cancellation fee and do nothing about the driver. So he can go on scamming other people in the future. Uber’s logic here is: because I didn’t ride the car, I’m not allowed to rate or comment on the driver. I hope @uber is really cracking down on these behaviors. This driver has been with uber for only 18 days. Im sure the driver probably didn’t think the trip was long enough to be profitable, but he didn’t have to take it, and he could have canceled early instead of trying to get me to cancel first and pay the fee. We had been playing the game of chicken for 45 mins, I hope he found it worthy of the 1000 yen cancellation fee he earned at the end of it.

Just got cancel scammed by @Uber driver never showed, just circled around us while we waited in the cold with a baby for 45 mins. Really scare to take a uber in Japan. Go taxi is a better choice.

I’ve seen scam like this on social media before. So I hold on and did not cancel. But @Uber canceled on my behalf and charged me for the fee. Going to dispute that with Amex and get the money back for sure. Meanwhile, going to report to the police about this yutao guy.
