My husband was desperate to eat, I’m holding to my dreams of not being fat, and waiting longer periods to eat. His impatience is willing to settle for lukewarm mashed potatoes. But I want hot potato. How did you handle it? What advice do you have for him? I have always been against dating someone for too long. It tends to ruin the fun over time. In my opinion, relationships should not last more than two years. Marriage should follow after that.

@ZnScarX @NoFilterSkin No, that is not true. Sin is sin, and is decided outside of humanity. I understand what you're saying, but you';re not looking at it through a spoiritual lens, so we're using the same words, but clearly not speaking the same language.

I think one of the reasons a lot of people are sexually dissatisfied in marriage is because they built an appetite for sexual sin, not sex. ​I always wondered why a single person could have sex seven times a day (when it's fornication), but have much lower desire for sex from their spouse. I believe it's because it's not just the "sex" they loved (in fornication), they loved the "rebellion." ​You see, sex in marriage is allowed, and because it's allowed, it's no longer appealing to the carnal man (male and female). The carnal man gains pleasure, primarily, in rebellion. ​So a carnal person may have an amazing sex life with their spouse and still sleep with other people because they have built love for sin, not sex. ​I believe it's also the reason why a person can make sexual demands that their spouse is clearly uncomfortable with and not care. Sexual sin is self-centred but sex in marriage ought not to be. ​Sex in marriage was not designed to satisfy sexual lust, so we can't build an appetite for sexual sin and hope marriage will satisfy it.
